Dancehall artist Mavado, has been charged with assault following an incident outside Bounty Killer birthday party at a New Kingston nightclub.

Grammy award winner Buju Banton's may face up 15 years in prison for conspiracy drug charges related to a cocaine deal in Florida 2009. The artist friends and family have been sending letters to the residing judge pleading for leniency.
